The trouble is I've written too many pages about my Scandinavia trip. Every time I sit down to try to caption my photos for this website, I remember more about the adventure than anyone wants to know. The short story is: I had a fabulous time in Copenhagen and all of Scandinavia. I met scores of friendly Danes, some of which I will count as good friends, and many other Scandinavians who I could go on and on about. But I'll spare you the details. I saw some pretty churches (always high on my tourist list), visited my first European castles, drank at local pubs, danced at clubs, listened to the Danes play the blues, rode trains and ferries through fjords and over mountains. Most of all, I fell in love with Copenhagen. I peddled around town on my rental bike each morning before sightseeing with Regina or lounging in the city parks striking up conversations with strangers (soon-to-be-friends). I sipped strong, perfectly brewed cups of coffee at open-air cafés for breakfast. I visited historical sites and scenic views, apartments and bathhouses, parks and parks and parks. I met locals at bars and partied until closing (at 5am), and then partied some more. I got incredibly exhausted (three hours of dusk, one hour of night) and kept going on coffee and Tuborg. I wore Regina out. But we met people. We saw things. We ate falafel. We ate lots of falafel.

See, even the short story is long. Have fun wandering through these photos. and when you see me next, I'm sure I will still be spilling over with the enthusiasm generated by this trip, and you won't be able to stop me from retelling my stories. If your curious just how wordy I can get, check this out.
